[…] Among the deepest qualities of his poetic oeuvre, I would highlight the humanity, certainty, and profoundness that the Zamoran poet lends to his verses, which are also easily understood by anybody. Claudio’s poetry is no doubt highly personal; it has nothing to do with current poetry; it comes from a man of a strong Castilian root. He is a slow poet, he does not write too much. From the beginning, what he has written is a great book by means of his own life.
